Day 13 - What a Week!!!



Even thought I haven't posted much lately... I'm still rolling along! I'm officially 10 pounds lighter. Yippeee!
This week wasn't a good workout week as I just started the "on the job" training part of my new job. I've been on the phones, running around like crazy asking "new guy" questions and totally screwing up my eating schedule. :) It's been lots of fun, but I'm going to have to be more planful next week of my eating.
Also, I usually WOD 3 days a week and today is the first day I worked out. I tend NOT to look at what the workout is going to be so I don't make an excuse not to go... well... today was 5 rounds of squat cleans and jumping dips. Now I'm totally wrecked, but even more motivated to go shopping and make sure I have enough food to get through the week.
And then I have to make myself eat that food.
Yup - me - lost my appetite. I've been reading that it can happen when you cut out (refined) carbs and take in high/moderate protein. Since I'm WHOLE juicing greens everyday, the jolt of natural fiber keeps me full, too (and I am getting in a good 2 cups of greens in a "glass" of juice).
So, this weekend is all about shopping and cooking. I'm making some favories like Mark Sisson's Garlic Pulled Pork and Paleo Girls Meatballs and might try this Everyday Paleo recipe - minus the wine (to stay compliant to Whole 30). Can't wait!
