I made Jimi & I a green smoothie to go with our eggs. Here's what you need for two heaping servings:
1 cup water
1.5 pears quartered
3 big sprigs kale (rip the leaves off the stem)
A slice of fresh ginger
1 cup frozen mango chunks
If you have a Vitamix, put everything in the blender in the order of the recipe... start at Variable 1 - move to 10 gradually. Flip to "high" and blend for 60 seconds.
As you all know, the greener the better... When you first start juicing, start with mixes of veggies and fruit. You can gradually swap out fruit for veggies in your recipes.
