12: Almost 1/2 Way?


It's kind of irrelevant at this point. I had some moments during the first few days where I was thinking of all the things I would eat (and drink) when my 30 was up... I had a bunch of "slumpy" days all strung together and finally started to pick up some energy after a few horrid workouts.
Today was really good. I didn't wake up hungry, I did a pretty good job during the WOD today and didn't curl into a ball and slip into a coma - I'm blogging! I also think, this is much easier than I thought in the first place. In fact, I am going to take it a step further and see how much raw food I can get in (within the Whole30 guidelines at first, including protein.) Then, who knows? A primarily raw diet? A little on the Vegan side - Gluten Free, surely.

I think all of what I have been reading (and seeing in documentaries) is finally sinking in. I might have gone through a post-cancer freakout rebel stage for a minute there: drinking and eating like garbage. Not that I'll never treat myself again - I'm not living without beer forever, however, I have a different motivation to watch what I stuff down my piehole these days.
And - in other news - my Vitamix is coming soon!!! YAYAYAYAYAYAAY!!!
It's late on a WOD day and I have two new books on my Kindle, so - night all. I will keep you posted on progress. I think a half-way weigh in would be fun. Again, it almost doesn't matter b/c I feel great and am already fitting into some pants that I haven't been able to get on in a while. I'm guessing I'll land around 7-10 pounds down.
We shall see!
